Since its inception in 1976, the Australian Journal of Management has been an important academic platform for research in the field of management. Over time, the journal has not only witnessed the development of management education and practice in Australia but has also made significant contributions to the advancement of the global field of management. It is committed to promoting innovation in management theory and in-depth empirical research, covering various subfields such as organizational behavior, strategic planning, human resource management, financial management, marketing, and international business.

The journal encourages scholars to submit high-quality research papers that often employ rigorous research methods to provide new insights and solutions to problems in management practice. In addition, it welcomes articles that critically analyze existing management theories, as well as discussions on emerging management trends and challenges. By publishing these research findings, it aims to provide a platform for management scholars, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and promote the development of the discipline.
