History of Psychology is an academic journal devoted to the historical study of psychology, featuring articles that delve into the development of psychology and its interrelationships with different cultural, social, and scientific contexts. The journal not only focuses on the history of psychology as a scientific discipline, but also places special emphasis on the practice and application of psychology in different historical periods and different cultural contexts.

The journal covers many aspects of the history of psychology, including the development of psychological theory, changes in psychological practice, and the interaction between psychology and other disciplines (such as philosophy, medicine, and education). In addition, it publishes scholarly works closely related to the history of psychology, such as historical psychology (the study of the historical evolution of consciousness and behavior), psychological history (the study of the role of psychological phenomena in the course of history), psychological theories relating to history, historical studies of psychology, biographies and autobiographies.
