Pamietnik Literacki is a Polish academic quarterly with a long history, founded in 1902. The magazine was published in Lviv from 1887 to 1898. This quarterly publication focuses on academic research on the history of Polish literature, involving literary criticism and literary theory issues. It is one of the most respected and oldest journals in the field of Polish literary research. The collaborators of Pamietnik Literacki include several generations of top Polish scholars, from pioneers of academic research in late 19th century Poland to outstanding figures in contemporary Polish literary studies. In addition, the journal also collaborates with foreign researchers, and a significant portion of its circulation reaches Slavic center subscribers outside of Poland.
