Film-Philosophy is dedicated to the engagement between film studies and philosophy, exploring the ways in which films develop and contribute to philosophical discussion. The journal also provides a forum for the thoughtful re-evaluation of key aspects of both film studies and philosophy as academic disciplines. The theme covers a wide range of fields, including art, philosophy, history, art history, literature, visual arts, psychology, sociology, aesthetics, political science, cinema, epistemology, law, computer science, psychoanalysis, and linguistics. The journal pays special attention to how film develops and promotes philosophical discussions, encouraging positive interaction between film studies and philosophy, thereby conducting thoughtful reassessments of key aspects of each discipline.
