Osmanli Arastirmalari - the Journal of Ottoman Studies has been committed to bringing the diverse heritage of the Ottoman Empire to contemporary academia. As emphasized by the founder of the journal, its purpose is to "become a means for an increasing number of Ottoman research students to gather in this journal, encouraging young people in academia by publishing their interesting research... helping them become famous and promoting their research to the academic community."
