Acta Musicologica published by the International Musicological Society (IMS), is one of the world’s oldest and most renowned musicological journals. Emphasis is placed on methodological cooperation between all musicological sub-disciplines as well as on the integration of related fields. Acta publishes up to twelve articles per year on an ongoing basis. Contributions can be submitted at any time.Focusing on research in the field of musicology, including but not limited to music history, music theory, ethnomusicology, music analysis, music performance practice, and more. As one of the oldest musicological journals in the world, Acta Musicology enjoys a high reputation and influence in the academic community, providing high-quality academic resources and communication platforms for scholars.
