Reception: Texts, Readers, Audiences, History is an academic peer-reviewed journal published by the Reception Study Society. This journal has been published since 2008, once a year, by Penn State University Press. It aims to promote dialogue and discussion among scholars in different related fields, including reader response criticism and teaching, reception research, the history of reading and books, audience and communication research, institutional research and history, as well as interpretive strategies related to feminism, race and ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation, postcolonial research, etc.
