International Journal of Online and Biomedical Engineering (IJOBE) is an academic journal dedicated to the fields of online engineering and biomedical engineering. This journal has been published since 2019 and is published by the School of Geography and History at UniversidadComplutense Madrid. The goal of IJOBE is to publish and discuss fundamental theories, applications, and experiences in online engineering (remote engineering, virtual instruments, and online simulations, etc.) as well as biomedical engineering/electronic health fields. Special attention should be paid to the use of network physical systems, virtual and remote control devices, and remote laboratories, which are the development trends of advanced remote work/electronic work environments. This journal aims to provide a platform for researchers to publish fundamental theories, applications, and experiences in the field of online engineering, such as remote engineering, the Internet of Things, cyber physical systems, digital twins, Industry 4.0, and virtual instruments.
