These days I've just finished the novel Uncle Tom's Cabin that left a really deep impression on me and we can see.
It is a book written in 1852 in response to the passage of the Fugitive Slave Law， Uncle Tom's Cabin has been considered as the most influential anti-slavery novel in that period and described by Stowe herself as a “series of sketches” describing the human cruelty of slavery， opens with a description of Arthur Shelby's Kentucky plantation during the antebellum period.
There are several impressive characters in this novel， George who is clever and brave;Harry， a beautiful and talented child who sings dances and mimes;Mrs. Shelby， a very religious woman;Sambo and Qimbo and so on. The major character Uncle Tom who was the most impressive in this novel was a devout Christian. He endured the miserable fate bravely and aroused the white's sympathy for slaves with his Christ's sacrifice and the tolerance of returning good for evil. As Shelby， the not cruel master， he has incurred serious debts- prompting him sell some slaves to avoid financial ruin， so Uncle Tom， Shelby's loyal servant since childhood was sold to Mr. Haley， the slave trader. Uncle Tom remained loyal to his master， despite his betrayal and the risk of death at the cruel hands of a new master. The slaves at the plantation were very mournful， but Tom remained placid and tried to read his Bible for fort. On the steamboat to New Orleans， where Tom was to be sold， Tom befriended an angelic little girl， “Little Eva” St. Clare. Uncle Tom saved the five-year-old beauty from drowning， and she convinced her father to buy Tom for her own family. In her family， Tom enjoye.

These kinds of characters are lost in their world because of the seducement of the material world. They doubt their formal faith and gradually give up what they believed. But after they have experienced so much hardship， they realize that they cannot adapt to the life of the outer world so they regress to the former life with formal faith. 一、分析學(xué)情，有的放矢
通過一個(gè)學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)，我們孩子的語文素養(yǎng)得到了進(jìn)一步的提高，主要表現(xiàn)在：
1、基礎(chǔ)方面：從上期最后一次考試來看，孩子的基礎(chǔ)比較扎實(shí)，積累也在豐厚。
2、閱讀方面：孩子掌握了一定的閱讀方法和做題的技巧，大部分孩子對閱讀產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣，對書籍的選擇也越來越廣泛，很多孩子都開始接觸一些經(jīng)典的名著。
3、作文方面：有相當(dāng)一部分孩子已經(jīng)能夠獨(dú)立自主地完成習(xí)作，且表達(dá)順暢，有一定的深度，進(jìn)步較為顯著。
當(dāng)然，回頭看看我和孩子走過的足跡，有得也有失：

到了高年級(jí)，識(shí)字寫字仍然是一項(xiàng)重要的教學(xué)任務(wù)，本學(xué)期要求學(xué)生認(rèn)字150個(gè)，寫字230個(gè)；要求學(xué)生獨(dú)立識(shí)字學(xué)詞，教師僅對一些易讀錯(cuò)的字、容易寫錯(cuò)的字、難寫的字給予指導(dǎo)；板書示范不容易寫好的筆順、筆畫、結(jié)構(gòu)，要求學(xué)生把字寫規(guī)范，寫美觀。堅(jiān)持寫好讀書摘錄筆記，達(dá)到錯(cuò)別字率不能大于1%的要求。

（1）課內(nèi)多積累

現(xiàn)在的高校圖書館藏書豐富，也有許多中英對照的文學(xué)作品，例如《傲慢與偏見》、《理智與情感》、《基督山伯爵》、《湯姆叔叔的小屋》、《德伯家的苔絲》等不朽的文化典籍。教師理應(yīng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀英文作品，增加學(xué)生的閱讀量和英語理解能力，從英語原文中感受英語文化，享受英語的樂趣。教師也可以讓學(xué)生讀完優(yōu)秀的文學(xué)作品以后用英語寫讀后感，可以提高學(xué)生的英語表達(dá)能力。
3.學(xué)校應(yīng)該定期開展英語文化活動(dòng)
學(xué)校應(yīng)該大力支持各種英語文化活動(dòng)的開展，定期舉辦英語文化活動(dòng)，像英語演講比賽，話劇表演和英文寫作大賽等。在活動(dòng)中，學(xué)生既可以朗誦英文詩歌，也可以把中國的詩歌翻譯成英語參加比賽，這樣可以有效的學(xué)習(xí)并弘揚(yáng)中華文化。這些活動(dòng)可以調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的積極性，提高學(xué)生的英語專業(yè)水平，增進(jìn)學(xué)生之間的友誼，達(dá)到英語文化教育與學(xué)習(xí)的完美結(jié)合。
高校教育是我國教育階段的重要部分，英語教育的發(fā)展離不開英語文化教育。要做好高校英語的文化教育，教師要轉(zhuǎn)變傳統(tǒng)的教學(xué)方法，提高課堂教育質(zhì)量，將文化教育融入到英語教學(xué)中，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀優(yōu)秀的英文作品，學(xué)校也應(yīng)該支持并開展英語文化活動(dòng)，英語教育才能不斷完善，走向成功。
